Ticket Booked

Saturday.
28 June.....
9++ p.m..........

Post ended 'cos feeling too emo liaw. HAHAHA some one stop me........

Florence's Ang Moh Boyfriend

Not one.....

But two!! >.<' Lucky girl....

Just kidding...Those guys were part of a Christian band that performed here on Monday. If I'm not wrong their band is called Synergy?? ( Noah, correct or not? =P) cos they were selling Synergy albums, so putting two and two together their band should be Synergy...right???! Haha..symptoms of blurriness. Pardon me.

Okay, unless I am seriously wrong, this should be Synergy . On second thought, I think I should leave out their band name and just refer to them as The Christian Band that performed in Kuching. Anyway, its better to be approximately right than precisely wrong.

It was actually a Chad Blondel 's concert ( Did I get the name right? ), the above band was there to do the opening, I presume. Pardon me again, pretty blur about the Christian music scene. Went to a Planetshakers concert before but have no memory whatsoever about how they look like, how many band members, etc etc. >.< At least I know they make pretty great music! =D Eh eh, if got Planetshakers ( or any of this sorta concert) this year I want to go, remember to tell me, you-who-informed-me-about-Chad's-concert-only about 6 hours before it started.
Crew some more+ known you for so long = inform me so late. T________T
Kidding lar. =P

Anyway, didn't manage to take a photo of Chad due to the fact that the music was pretty loud and by the time he started performing I was already partially deaf and had to step out of the concert hall numerous times to nurse my ringing eardrums. Yeouch, have no idea how 'em crew managed to endure the deafening music for so long.

Now, let me have the pleasure to introduce to you Zorro.

Cute or not? My aunt says it's eyes looks like Zorro, hence the name.

P/s Many thanks to Florence and Steph for the concert ticket. And many thanks to those that have given me lotsa advice. Buuuuutttttttttt am still confused. T_______T

Form 6

Heyaaa, am back to keep this blog alive and kicking! Its been 2 weeks since I've entered Form 6 and am currently enjoying myself. =) At least now I'm not rotting away and my brain has currently started to function appropriately though not as efficiently as usual. Patience, dear, patience.

About form 6? It is actually kinda, um, fun! Amidst all the hassle and being smothered by never-ending homework and humongous text books, I actually find Form 6 an interesting experience. I know I sound so weird, ah whatever, I'll regret my words in months to come, I suppose. Form 6 is way different from Form 5 where I tend to daydream/nod away/bury myself in a story book during certain lessons. Oh, did I just disclosed what I was actually doing in class most of the time? In form 6, each and every period is educational (Form 5 different hor..) and I get to learn lots of new stuff. Plus the teachers are really experienced and friendly, so being taught by them is a pleasurable experience. And, I think its the very first time in many many uncountable years that I've been actually listening and paying attention for one whole day straight. On second thought it might be because I'm sitting in an extremely prime spot - just in front of the teacher's desk where daydreaming will not be that convenient. =P Got that spot 'cos Flo and I came in class late on the first day and those two desks will kinda the only ones left. But anyway, sitting in front also has its advantages. The teachers seem to conveniently ignore us when asking questions. =) By the way, did I mention that Mr Eng's sister is teaching us Chemistry? haha...

Our class is pretty small and it has a seemingly non functioning air-conditioner. But considering the number of people in our class that will be actually continuing form 6 ( approx not more than 20), it'll be less congested in a few months time. Some of the rules in St Thom are pretty absurd. And prefects are stationed at every single gate in the school to check our nails, pockets etc. etc. Whoosh~ and you should see the number of gates in the school. Haha. go to class pass one gate. Check. Go to canteen pass another gate. Check.

Another thing about this school is the fact that mirrors are practically plastered everywhere. Go up one flight of stairs. Mirror. Go up another flight. Mirror. Turn a corner. Mirror. Turn another corner. Mirror. Go down another flight of stairs. Mirror. I still remember that Kuching High had this rule once that forbid students from bringing mirrors to school, how different considering that St Thomas actually provides uncountable mirrors. Anyway, guys/ girls / I'm unsure which word is suitable can be found in front of the mirrors tidying their hair in a very femininely way. Hence, Flo proudly declares that she is much tougher than most of the guys/girls/ girl-like-guy in the school.

Oh, and while I was typing this post, my bro turn on the TV and all I see is the Survivor: China finale credits rolling on screen. Ish~ why does my timing seem to be annoyingly good at certain times? Who won? Who was the final 2? Obviously I'm not a very devoted follower of Survivor. I'm the kind that watches one random episode, root for the person I like to stay, pinpoint the person that is the most bitchy/ruthless and hopes that he/she leaves, skip a few more episodes, watch another random episode and if the person I rooted for to stay is still there I'll just continue supporting him/her, if not I'll find another fav. =D Random fact.

Disappeared into Nothingness

Sorry 'cos I haven't been updating much recently because am currently in Form 6. * takes deep breath* St Thomas is like a huge never-ending labyrinth *grimaces*, but worry not 'cos I'm slowly adjusting to it. Anyway, the first minute I set foot into the school, a wave of nostalgia swept over me. Everything seem so hostile and unfamiliar, and I deeply longed for the familiarity and warmness of Kuching High. Furthermore, my brain is still going through the transition from holiday mode to study mode, I tell you, it ain't easy at all.

The first day we were made to sit in a circle and introduce ourselves to random people sitting in the certain random circle. After that we were forced to listen to random people drone on about random facts that my napping brain can only recall it as a muddle of mumble jumble. SorryzZ..brain is currently stuck halfway between holiday state and school state. Anyway, I think my brain's state is far from improving 'cos I can only remember the 2nd day as another huge muddle of random chatter and that we were made to sweep the chemistry lab. Clever administration. Oh yeah, can anyone tell me why are we not allowed to pluck our eyebrows? >.<'

Today? All new form6 students were forced laborers. Barely just the 3rd day in school and we were assigned to help clean and beautify the school. School administration is darn clever in getting free laborers.Ingenious. For some unknown reason we had to carry soil to pour on plants which were looking extremely healthy. And hooray, 3rd day of school and I've managed to get my shoes all soiled.

By the way, I'm proud to say that I'm in L6s2. Once a Science 2 student, always a Science 2 student. =D Starting classes tomorrow and oh, a sudden thought struck me, I'm supposed to be in study mode and I'm here blogging??? *slaps self on head*

Just updating

Fany leaving for Labuan tomorrow.
Lesley leaving for TARC tomorrow.
Cheng going to TARC too.

Feels like everyone is leaving.
If you could see me, I'll give you an emo face and drone on about how I'm gonna miss them like hell.
*sniff* And I don't even think I'll have a chance to send them off. Heck, didn't even get a chance to send Li off.
For now, I'll end this post here.

Cliché Movies

Pardon my sudden infatuation with blogging about movies. Must have something to do with my pre-Form 6 state. You know, when your survival instincts kick in and you try to make full use of your last few days of freedom and bliss by stuffing yourself to the brim with movies. Survival instincts. Hahaha.

Anyway, cliché movie No.1 that I've watched: The Game Plan.

I don't give a damn that it is cliché because the movie is too darn sweet to let it pass. Well, if you have had a sufficient dose of Disney movies you'll be able to guess how the ending will turn out to be without the need of torturing your precious brain. It starts off with the introduction of Joe Kingman, a self-absorbed narcissist and egotistic top Boston Rebels Football star. Out of the blue, a little girl, Payton Kelly, turns up at his doorstep claiming that she is his biological daughter from a previous marriage. After accepting the fact that Payton is actually his own daughter, Joe takes up the responsibility of a father. Its so sweet seeing Joe's paternal ( or maybe maternal will be appropriate) instincts start to kick in and a strong father-daughter bond beginning to form between him and Payton. Sniff, this movie is really so sweeett....

I want a bedazzling kit. Hohoho.

Cliché movie No.2 : Iron Man

Just watched this last night. Typical superhero movie from Marvel Comics. But never less an entertaining watch. It's about Tony Stark who runs a weapons business. On an unfortunate business trip in the Middle East, Tony was kidnapped by a group of terrorists who forced him to built them a Jericho Missile. Instead he built a suit that will enable him to fight his way out of the terrorist encampment. This incident had quite an impact on him as he personally saw his own creations used to cause much pain and suffering. When he gets back safe and sound, he has a change of heart and refuses to built anymore weapons. Hence, the promiscuous, wealthy businessman somewhat changes into a humanitarian. He then spends most of his time working on his Iron Man suit, determined to used it for a better cause-destroying the weapons he created. And well, much said.

Just this morning, saw an Innit post about post-footage of Iron Man. Audrey,Siaw Wee,Francis, Siew,Lesley,Noah,CJK,BKY,BHY, you've missed the part after the credits!!! Haha, where Samuel L. Jackson appears informing Tony that he isn't the only superhero in the world. HOHOHO, who ask the cinemas to hit the light switch when the credits start rolling. Sigh~ so much for cinemas....

Okay, Noah since you said you DO read my blog. So ah, MUST personally thank you again for um, driving me around. I'm so grateful for benign older brothers like you. =P Here's to you suffering another 3 agonizing minutes of Mariah Carey's singing. I salute you.

DONE! Back to Moonlight episode 14. Hohoho.

The Kingdom

Just finished watching this. Two thumbs up for it. =D Since I'm feeling real lazy to write about it, I'll just copy the synopsis from the internet :

When a terrorist bomb detonates inside a Western housing compound in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, an international incident is ignited. While diplomats slowly debate equations of territorialism, FBI Special Agent Ronald Fleury quickly assembles an elite team and negotiates a secret five-day trip into Saudi Arabia to locate the madman behind the bombing. Upon landing in the desert kingdom, however, Fleury and his team discover Saudi authorities suspicious and unwelcoming of American interlopers into what they consider a local matter. Hamstrung by protocol-and with the clock ticking on their five days-the FBI agents find their expertise worthless without the trust of their Saudi counterparts, who want to locate the terrorist in their homeland on their own terms. Fleury's crew finds a like-minded partner in Saudi Colonel Al-Ghazi, who helps them navigate royal politics and unlock the secrets of the crime scene and the workings of an extremist cell bent on further destruction. With these unlikely allies sharing a propulsive commitment to crack the case, the team is led to the killer's front door in a blistering do-or-die confrontation. Now in a fight for their own lives, strangers united by one mission won't stop until justice is found in The Kingdom.

This movie is a giant thrill ride. What differentiates it from the normal Saudi terrorists VS American FBIs movies is the fact that this movie is not biased and portrays both sides equally and neutrally. This movie does not give the common impression that Saudis are bad and the Americans are good like other movies of its kind normally do.

My favorite part of the movie is where the observant Colonel Al-Ghazi spotted the notorious terrorist "head" Abu Hamza when he and the FBI team unknowingly stumbled upon his clan. Abu Hamza has been hunted down for years and even referred to as a ghost by some due to the fact that he is good at covering up his tracks. Just after Colonel Al-Ghazi pointed him out, he was shot to death by Abu Hamza's grandson. T_T I know this is such a spoiler. =P

Oh yea most common scene:

*gun shots*

*screams*

*bombs exploding*

*some more screams*

*orders and profanities flowing*

*more bombs detonating*

*wailing*

*torpedoes sailing everywhere*

*terrorist with bomb*

*terrorist says ' Allahu Akbar'*

* deafening "Bang"*

*some more blood curling screams*

*silence*

Ending Quote : We are going to kill them all.

I'm such a sadist.

Random chatter

Well, Malaysian Dreamgirl has finally come to an end. A very disappointing finale actually. How can Cindy win arh? Really wanted Hanis to win as she was the most promising and the most deserving of the three ( top three). Totally agree with what Alison said about Cindy being her family's dreamgirl rather than Malaysian Dreamgirl. Her filthy rich family is probably the reason why she even won this contest. >.< Damn unfair, I hope that the voting system will change for the upcoming season.

On the other hand, I've no idea how Adeline was able to make it this far. Since the very beginning, she exudes this vibe that I just can't bear with. I'll get peevish every single time she talks. Quote her : Actually...bla bla bla..actualli..bla bla..actually.bla.. actuali.. Tell me, how not to get annoyed when she talks??!! But when Hanis keeps saying macam..macam... I don't mind, 'cos she's so sweeett! Haha, I'm so biased.

If given a choice, I think the top 3 ( out of the top6) should be Hanis, Jay and Nadia/ Ringo. Nadia 'cos she's been fighting hard to get this. Literally fighting. Ringo 'cos..I LOVE HER BLOG..and her dog, aiyak, I admit I'm so damn biased. >.<. Jay because she's really professional in the modeling world, takes really good pictures ( with the exception of one) and performs extremely well on the runway. Hanis 'cos she's improved lots since the start and has this sweet, demure look that will look perfect on magazine covers. But, anyway its all over already. So, congrats to Cindy for winning the title then.....All the best to Hanis though.... =)

Enough bout Malaysian Dreamgirl ( or some might fondly know it as Malaysian Dramagirl =P). My sis is back here in Kuching for her electives. Hence, my house, um, my room to be exact, looks as if a whirlwind has just passed through it ( OMC, I'm getting darn good at this exaggeration thingy.) Now, my room is so packed with products-hair products, makeup remover, makeup, face products...you name it, my room has it.

Products.....

And some more products.......

And some more...........>.<

If I somehow knock down one of her expensive products it ain't really my fault, right? On the bright side, according to Mum, we can use those, um, stuff for free.....

Anyway, its still great to have my sis back. Even though she leaves things lying about...and is somehow immune to her alarm clock..........

Its been a while

Finally had the privilege to meet up with my primary school friend Esme. Haven't seen her for quite a while. Okay, you've got me there, I haven't seen her for two years. >.<' Well, Esme is one of those primary school pals that I still managed to keep in touch with after all these years. And I have to say, Esme has turned into a well-bred Theresian. =P She's inherited quite a few Theresian traits- loud, cheerful and lively, That's why Theresians are usually fun to hang out with. The St Theresa girls I've known are always entertaining and its like being in a bubble of joy just being around them. So Esme, that's a compliment from me. =)

Esme darling and I. Ah Cheng at the side.

We chilled out at Bing with Lesley, Ah Cheng, Aaron and Pin Wei. Tiffany joined us later on as she had to attend her sis's engagement party. Cheng kept going on about how he was not going to TARC to study anymore as he was going to the states. =.=' Lesley and I really were unsure whether to believe him or not since he had on one-of-those faces. Ah, you know the kind when he's trying real hard to feign sincerity, leaving you really torn between believing what he says and brushing his words off as if it is crap. Oh well....

Pin Wei -One of those friends that I've known for most of my life.

And Pin Wei, well he's supposed to go Form 6. Note the use of the word 'supposed'. Can't possibly imagine him in Form 6, some more in St Thomas. Those that had or are still studying in St Thomas will get what I mean. His hair will be the thing that will get him sent home the first minute he steps into that school. Tsk, so much for rules. And on second thought, rules are meant to be broken, so all the best in defying the school rules eh? *salutes*

Esme and Tiffany

After we had enough of Bing, we headed over to some place called After Three. I don't know what the name After Three has to do with the shop other than the fact that they do not serve anything that is edible after eleven and they serve horrible wheat grass juice ( according to Lesley).

On the way back to my house, we encounter some sort of um,difficulty due to the fact that some dogs, were um, doing something in the middle of the road that led to my house. The temporarily joined dogs were standing in the way of me and my house. Dang, I seriously dunno who should be more pissed. Me because I couldn't reach home or them because we intruded on their er, intimate moment. =______= Nah, explicit photo for your viewing.

The mating game.

But of course, why did they have to do it right in the middle of the road???!!! Anyway, some skillful maneuvering by Lesley got me to my house. Thankyiewverymuchie.

Before I end this post, I will like to wish my "gan" bro a very happy birthday. ( I know, I'm a day late, couldn't get to blog yesterday. =D)

Okay here goes..to the bro that has set a very good example for me by:
1) Constantly sleeping in class,
2) Sneaking your hand phone into school,
3) Text messaging while the teacher is droning on about some random fact that might be useful in the exam and
4) By doing a live demonstration on how to french kiss by using your hands ( in class also =.=')

A Very Happy 81st Birthday. Eh, sorry did I type wrong again? I meant 18th. =D I'll never forget that you're able to drive because the image of your driver's license is permanently engraved in my mind. Thanks to the fact that you kept flashing it in my face the day you obtained it.

.
First time see guys so darn cute one hor..Birthday boy is the one on the left.

Thanks for constantly polluting my thoughts and teaching my skills that I don't think I'll be needing for quite some time. =P
On a more serious tone, its really great to have known you. Having you sit behind me in class is like having live entertainment non-stop everyday. Really miss the good 'ol times in 5s2. And you make a real good older bro. 'nuff said. =D

Moonlight is back!

Finally, after a far-too-long hiatus Moonlight is finally back on air with episode 13! Sigh~ finally the writer's strike issue was kind of sorted out and both sides came to an unanimous decision to release a few more episodes of Moonlight. Thankyouverymuch. You've made my day. Please please do not offend the writers again. Really need a continuous dose of Moonlight. =D

Anyway, was pretty late last night when I finally got around to watching Moonlight. Begged my brother to watched it with me 'cos was unsure whether this episode is gonna turn out to be some really freaky one with horrifying scenes. For your information, I just can't bear horror movies 'cos those gory/gross/unbearably insane images will somehow be permanently etched in my mind and I'll wake up in the middle of the night with the image firmly imprinted in my brain. Not a good experience, I tell you.

So, this episode kicks off with Mick enjoying his temporary human state due to the fact that he was given a temporary cure for vamperism in the previous episode. As usual, mysteries keep appearing to revolve around him and Beth, quote Mick "It (being around him) is like a giant thrill ride that never ends." Well said. This time around, its' Beth's boss (Maureen) that is murdered. And so as their investigation continues, they find themselves in the midst of trouble and of course, facing a vamp.

Well, in this episode, with Mick being temporarily human, his senses have all decreased, thus making him more vulnerable. My bro also commented that his dressing style has somewhat deteriorated which is probably due to the fact that he has lost his 'vampire aura'. Thank goodness, all this lack-of-vamperism was restored in the end. *winks*

And yes, Amy will be dying to know what has happen to Josef. Well, the stingy creep is trying to rebuilt his blown up apartment cum office while practicing extreme frugality. And this spoilt old vamp that never seems to get his hands dirty is actually helping Mick kick butt in this episode! When he actually gets into fighting mode, damn vicious betul! But of course, his mouth will eventually take over the job of his arms and legs. And yea, after taking down one of the henchman his back being commentator of the day. =D That's the good 'ol witty Josef that Amy loves. Mwah.

Okay, I've went online and checked and it seems that Moonlight will be lasting until Episode 16 where Mick and Josef's secret identities are put into jeopardy. Seriously hope that there'll be another season after this though. Ain't ready to let Moonlight go...just yet. Hmm, since Moonlight is back kicking arses on tv, makes me wonder whether season 3 of heroes will be teleporting back on screen........

Dang, and I am supposed to be starting Form 6.
Where I'm supposed to be in a forced matrimony with my textbooks.
Oh well...........
