Escaped from Shah Alam

Yup, am at my cousin's place for a few days to escape the depressing land of depression. =P Shah Alam has been pretty deserted the past few days because of Raya. The shops are mostly closed and well I guess the residents also mostly dah balik kampung. Here? Its a different story. According to my cousin, Serdang ( the place where I'm currently staying) used to be a Hakka village. So, well you know. Chinese. Haha, its pretty delightful to see chinese coffee shops around. And seeing Chinese FOODD... gosh glorious chinese food, if you get my drift. =) Weelllll, had a swelll birthday on Sunday. Thanks guys for all the birthday wishes/presents/sms/gifts all the way from Kuching ( thanks a million Leon!) , am so so touched and honoured to have great great wonderfull undescribably superb friends like you all. And oh oh, my bro and sis actually made me a bear and are sending it over here all the way from Singapore!!! How cool can that be. So So So So excited to receive it! hahaha. Saw the picture of the bear and its adorable! Pink somemore with surgeon's outfit( ah, should be my bro's idea). thankies so much!

Oh oh, about the birthday! Celebrated it at Ikano/ The Curve that area. Had pancakes for lunch, gosh, you should see the amazing varieties of pancakes at Paddington House of Pancakes. And I thought that pancakes were the normal flour kinda you eat with honey and syrup. My perception of pancakes have changed ever since I ate there. And And And for tea/snack whatever you wanna name it ( yea, I know we have humongous appetites, its a result of staying in KL) we had curry puffs/hotdogs/meatballs/ choc balls at Ikea. The meatballs there are HEAVEN, simply HEAVEN, and the choc balls?? ah nothing tastes better. The curry puffs are one of a kind too. Highly recommend you all to eat at Ikea. Cheap and simply delicious. LOL. =) oh and dinner?? HAHAHA can laugh till don't want laugh. Went to Carl's Jr, the guys ordered 3 burgers mana tau come another 3 EXTRA burgers with fries and salad some more. How good can this get? Carl's Jr burger lagi, don't play play. All in all it was a wonderful day, was pretty reluctant to leave after that. Oh well..

Its much nicer being at my cousin's place. Much more convenient. Love the internet speed here. Good for blogging. Sadly, didn't think of bringing my hp cable here. If not this post could have been filled with pictures.of. FOOD. Mwahaha.. oh and cuzzy brought me to Ikea and 1U again yesterday. The wonders of having a car. It makes travelling about so much more easier. And oh yea, really love shopping at Ikea. >.< confession there. =) Am so gonna bring Amy here next time. Poor her cramming for her SATs. Wish her luck yea. =)
